Oceania-Pacific Islands Mail Group

The Oceania-Pacific Islands Mailing Group (OPIMG) was created in early 2016 by George Balazs and Thierry Work as an affiliated supplement to the Oceania Region membership of the IUCN/SSC Marine Turtle Specialist Group. The purpose of the Mailing Group is “To disseminate and exchange information and views as broadly as possible on a diversity of topics linked globally to sea turtles, people, cultures, and the sea”. There are presently over 450 recipients subscribed. We warmly welcome others to join us. Simply send a short email introducing yourself to: itsahonuworldinhawaii@hotmail.com.
